The Rehabilitation of Roads to Basse represents one of Zen Construction's most significant infrastructure undertakings, demonstrating our capability to restore and extend the life of critical transportation corridors across The Gambia. Spanning 95.87 kilometers, this extensive rehabilitation project was completed for the Government of The Gambia between 2016 and 2023, with a contract value of USD 70,575,948.

Our scope encompassed comprehensive road restoration, including asphalt resurfacing to restore smooth travel surfaces, drainage system improvements to manage water flow and prevent erosion, and strategic interventions designed to extend the operational lifespan of this vital route. Every phase was executed with meticulous attention to quality and durability.

The project was successfully delivered on schedule, reinforcing Zen Construction's reputation for reliability and technical excellence. This landmark road continues to enhance trade, mobility, and quality of life for communities along the North Bank region.
